The Challenge
EKO Recycles operated without a website or brand. They relied on word-of-mouth and roadside signage. The scrap metal industry is competitive in Melbourne, and businesses without a web presence lose out to operators who rank in search results.
No online presence meant people with scrap metal to sell could not find them through Google.
Their three service models (mobile collection, drop-off, bin hire) were not documented anywhere online.
They had no way for potential sellers to get a quick quote without calling.
The types of metals they accept and their Dandenong location were not visible in search results.

What We Deliver
01
Brand Identity
We designed a clean, modern brand with a professional colour palette. The branding communicates trustworthiness and fair dealing, which is essential in an industry where customers want confidence they are getting honest prices for their metals.
Website Design & Development
We built a full website: Home, About Us, Services (Mobile Collection, Drop-Off, Bin Hire), What We Buy (detailed material guide), Service Areas (Melbourne suburb directory), and Contact with quote forms.
03
Quote System
We built interactive quote request forms so potential sellers can describe their materials and get a response. The forms also accept photo submissions so EKO can assess materials before a pickup.
Local SEO
Service area pages target multiple Melbourne suburbs. Material-specific content targets searches for selling specific metal types.
01
Discovery
We visited the Dandenong yard, documented the operation, and understood the three service models. We researched competing scrap metal businesses in Melbourne to identify how to position EKO.
02
Brand Development
The brand was designed to project professionalism and fairness. Clean lines and a modern colour palette set EKO apart from the cluttered, outdated look common in the recycling industry.

03
Website Design
The site was structured around three clear service paths: come to us, we come to you, or we drop a bin. The What We Buy section details every metal type accepted with descriptions to help customers identify their materials.
